STRATEGIC
AREA
The AZCA complex has always been an emblematic part of the city. It has everything it needs to become Madrid’s most prominent economic and cultural hub, but at present its surroundings and facilities are failing to live up to this great potential.
WHY
RENAZCA?
Some of Madrid’s most emblematic office buildings are located in AZCA.
It is home to large multinational firms, with the main offices of companies such as Google, HSBC, Generali and EY are located in AZCA.
It is one of the city’s busiest commercial and recreational spaces.
AZCA boasts important commercial amenities such as El Corte Inglés de Castellana, one of the capital’s main department stores, and the Moda Shopping mall.
Calle Orense, with a daily footfall of 15,000 people, offers a wide range of clothing shops and restaurants.
