Azca is a rough diamond, a unique place home to the offices of large multinational companies, surrounded by cultural and recreational options of the highest level.
Despite its enormous potential, AZCA is currently considered to be an area not integrated to the city. The deterioration of the public space facilities has led to the declining quality of the urban landscape, resulting in areas that are less frequented, dark, unsecure and difficult to access.
The aim of RENAZCA is to make the complex shine, filling all its corners with life and creating a unique space for social, economic and cultural encounters.
OBJECTIVES
To create a setting that is friendly, attractive and safe
To create a cohesive, inclusive and connected space that is integrated into the city of Madrid.
To turn Azca into a one-of-a-kind venue in Madrid, a vibrant space to be enjoyed by all citizens and visitors
To promote a new city model that is sustainable and innovative
A COMPREHENSIVE RENOVATION PLAN
To achieve these goals, Renazca presented the City Council with a public-private collaboration initiative, with an initial “Anteproyecto” that has been progressing and maturing over the past two years.
Currently, through a collaboration agreement that is being prepared with the City Council, along with other companies that have gradually joined the project, such as Pontegadea, El Corte Inglés, Generali, and Mutua Madrileña, as well as all those affiliated with Renazca, we will be able to make the dream that all residents, businesses, and the City Council had for this area a reality.
An example of how public-private collaboration can be a way to move forward and build the common good in our City.
In addition to these plans, a communication and image strategy will be implemented with the objective of placing AZCA in the heart of Madrid and encouraging citizens to see it as a central and dynamic space that promotes coexistence, business, commerce and leisure.
